God is three persons in one – father, son and the holy spirit. God is perfect in holiness and god is love. There is only one true living god and he has expressed himself through Jesus Christ. God is eternal, omniscient, omnipresent, compassionate and gracious; slow to anger, abounding in love and in faithfulness.
Ephesians 1 says, God has predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ. We believe that through Jesus Christ, God has revealed his love, purpose and plan for his creation. Jesus Christ is the only son of God who was conceived by the holy spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. Jesus Christ came to take away the sins of the world by his death on the cross. He was wounded for our rebellion. He was beaten and bruised for our sins. He suffered our punishments so that we could have peace. By his wounds we have received healing. He is the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and on the third day rose from the dead. He sat on the right hand of God the father almighty.
Man was created by God in his image to rule this earth but man disobeyed God and fell into sin. He got separated from God due to sin and death came into this world due to sin. Jesus Christ came to redeem this fallen man from the grips of sin and death. By his death on the cross, Jesus Christ fulfilled the needs of the law and opened the way for the fallen man to come back to God.
Holy Spirit is the third person of Trinity. Holy Spirit is the spirit of Lord Jesus Christ. Holy spirit is gentle, loving, willing and he empowers the body of Christ as his glorious bride. The fruit of the spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Forbearance, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23)
The church is the warrior bride of Jesus Christ. She needs to be restored to her glory for victory in the sinful world and meeting her bridegroom, the Lord Jesus Christ when he returns.
